Mayo have hammered Galway, with an incredible 17 point win over a 13 man Galway side.

It was 4-16 to 0-11 by the time the full whistle was blown and it felt as a kind of mercy to Galway as Andy Moran buried a fourth goal moments before the end of the game.

Niall Coleman and Gareth Bradshaw were both sent off for Galway, with both incidents straight cards due to violent conduct.

Mayo will welcome Roscommon to McHale Park in the next round, while Galway head for the qualifiers knowing they have plenty to do to bounce back from this blow.
