Before their seniors attempt to reach a decider, Mayo's minors have reached the All Ireland final after crushing Monaghan by 3-19 to 1-12 at Croke Park.

In today's curtain raiser, the Connacht side raced into an early advantage against Monaghan, leading by 0-7 to 0-3 after twenty minutes.

But Conor McCarthy found the net for Monaghan  in the 22nd minute before Conor Loftus.
