Graeme McDowell is through the World Match Play Championship final, following a 3 & 2 win over South African Branden Grace.

McDowell raced into a 3 hole lead within the first five holes, but Grace narrowed the deficit to just one, with birdies on the sixth and eleventh.

McDowell birdied the thirteenth and fifteenth hole, meaning he just needed to tie sixteen and the final spot was his. He matched Grace’s par to set up a final against Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee, who beat Thomas Aiken 3 & 2 in the other semi-final.
