Lionel Messi's poor recent form continues.
The Argentine has missed a penalty for PSG in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie with Real Madrid.
The hosts were awarded the spot- kick in the 61st minute in Paris on Tuesday night when the game was 0-0.
Mbappe entered the box down the inside-left channel and drew a clumsy challenge from Carvajal to see the referee points to the spot.
The 34-year-old stepped up to send a powerful sidefoot towards the bottom right.
Courtois guessed correctly though and turned it around the post.

Messi has only scored seven goals in 20 PSG appearances in all competition since joining the French side at the end of last summer.
PSG went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to a stunning injury-time goal from Kylian Mbappé.
