Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed his interest in signing Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas.
The midfielder is believed to be available for around £30 million.
Several reports have suggested that Arsenal will not be exercising their option to buy-back Fabregas, who left the north London club in 2011.
Mourinho says it is "clear" the Spanish international is very interested in coming back to England.
"I am interested in studying the Fabregas situation. I think he is eager to leave Barcelona and motivated to come back to the Premier League," said Mourinho at a Yahoo event.
"I think that much is clear. Now he is going to sign for Chelsea or for another English club, but it is not a subject for today, or even tomorrow. It’s for after the World Cup."
He has clashed with Fabregas in the past, with the Spaniard recently warning Mourinho to "shut up" over comments made following a Champions League tie between Barca and Manchester City.
