Manchester United manager David Moyes has criticised Manchester United's fixture list, claiming it is the club's hardest for 20 years.
The Reds face Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool in three of their first five games of the season.
"I find it hard to believe that's the way the balls came out of the bag," he said.
"I think it's the hardest start for 20 years that Manchester United have had. I hope it's not because Manchester United won the league quite comfortably last year that the fixtures have been made much more difficult."
The Premier League confirmed that Moyes had presented his concerns about the fixture list and said that they had assured him that the process is random.
