Ulster Captain Johann Muller returns to the extended squad for Friday’s trip to Connacht. The South African lock suffered an injury to his bicep in the Heineken Cup quarter final defeat to Saracens on April 6 and was expected to be out of action until early May. He missed last Friday’s win over Dragons.
Elsewhere in the squad John Afoa returns from New Zealand and rejoins the squad, as do Paddy Jackson, Chris Henry and Andrew Trimble who were all rested for last Friday’s game.
Ulster lead the RaboDirect PRO12 by a three point margin over second placed Leinster, with third placed Glasgow another point back in third. With just two games remaining this fixture will be crucial for Mark Anscombe’s side as they look to ensure a home semi-final.
