Rafael Nadal made short work of beating Roger Federer in just 68 minutes in today’s final of the Italian Open, seeing off his long time rival in straight sets; 6-1, 6-3.
Nadal dropped just four games on the way to his seventh Italian Open title. This is the sixth tournament, from a total of eight, Nadal has won since returning from a knee injury in February. Nadal had missed seven months through injury.
This was the 30th meeting between the two players.
