Evidence revealed in a new book suggests that Bradford City's former chairman at the time of the Bradford fire tragedy was also linked to other fires at premises owned or associated with him.
The 1985 tragedy at Valley Parade claimed 56 lives and a report published in The Guardian claims that Stafford Heginbotham was connected to eight other blazes which resulted in sizeable insurance claims.

A new book, Fifty-Six – The Story of the Bradford Fire, by survivor Martin Fletcher details the revelations.
Fletcher lost three generations of his family at the tragedy, including his brother, father, uncle and grandfather.
