It’s the kick off of the Premier League and for the day that’s in it Newstalk Sport Saturday have a show packed with discussion and up to the minute coverage of all of the action plus exclusive interviews with Paul O’Connell and Stephen Hunt.
As usual the show kicks off with the Saturday Panel, and today Adrian Barry welcomes Gerry Stembridge, co-creator of Scrap Saturday and author of “The Effect of Her”, Sean Moran, GAA Correspondent with the Irish Times and Neil Francis, former Ireland rugby international to the studio.
We look back at the PGA Championship with Karl McGinty – golf writer with the Irish Independent – in studio.
Following David Heffernan winning Ireland’s first gold medal at the World Championships in 1995 we speak to a panel of athletics experts and look at the current health of athletics in Ireland.
There is also a hurling preview with Nicky English looking ahead to tomorrow’s all Munster semi-final between Limerick and Clare and we will wrap up today’s show with analysis of the day’s Premier League results with graham Taylor.
