Munster say that Niall Ronan has been given the all-clear after the injury he suffered during yesterday's defeat to the Scarlets at Musgrave Park.

The flanker has been released from Cork University Hospital after scans showed that he didn't suffer any significant damage in the incident that resulted in him being stretchered off during the first-half.

His progress will be monitored over the coming days before a date is set for his return to action.
