Republic of Ireland Under 21 manager Jim Crawford has named a training camp of 25 ahead of vital qualifiers in October and November.
The panel includes Michael Obafemi, who was left out of Stephen Kenny's senior squad on Monday.
Southampton pair Will Smallbone and Will Ferry have been included for the first time, as has Watford's Ryan Cassidy and St Patrick's Athletic defender Luke McNally.
The camp will be held over four days in Northern Ireland from next Monday.
The Under 21's take on Italy, Iceland, and Luxembourg in European qualifiers in October and November.
They top their Group with five wins, one draw and one defeat, although Italy have two games in hand.
