Arsenal have stolen the headlines on transfer deadline day.

The Gunners have completed the €47 million capture of Germany international Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old underwent the second part of his medical in Munich this afternoon after agreeing personal terms with the club on a deal worth €150,000 per week, making him the club's highest-paid player as well as their record signing.

Arsene Wenger is not finished spending in the transfer window either.

Arsenal are understood to be trying to sign Chelsea's Demba Ba on a season-long loan as well as Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano.
