Paddy Lowe has made his much anticipated move to Formula One team Mercedes.

He was released from his role as technical director at McLaren at the start of the year, amid speculation that he planned to join their rivals.

Lowe will link up with Mercedes as executive director at the beginning of June.

The team's drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have made a reasonable start to the season, although tyres have been an issue.
