You might know Jeff Daniels as Will McAvoy, anchor of News Night on The Newsroom.
For us though, he'll always be Harry Dunne, the "dumber" one from Dumb and Dumber.
Well this afternoon Daniels posted the following picture on his Twitter page:

After a long time spinning on the rumour mill it was confirmed a few months ago, and this week Daniels and his co-star Jim Carrey (who'll reprise his role as the brilliantly mean Lloyd Christmas - pretty bird, anyone?) have officially begun filming a sequel called Dumb and Dumber To.
While details on the film are scarce, here's what Daniels said when he was asked what we can expect at the Emmys:
"There are some things [that] we're going to do in Dumb and Dumber To that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame. Pales in comparison and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it. [The] best thing about it? I get to work with a comedic genius."
We believe the scene he's referring to is the following:
Toilet humour may or may not be your thing, but the first film was pretty great in spite of it. You know, with classic lines like:
Yep. That.
Dumb and Dumber To will be released in 2014, 20 years after the original.
