There has been much debate about Tyrone's style over the years with accusations of cynicism, amplified by the reaction to Sean Cavanagh's tackle against Monaghan in the All Ireland quarter finals.

But last night as Tyrone GAA celebrated the opening of a new state-of-the-art centre in Garvaghey, members of the media were handed a press pack containing a fact sheet which countered the accusations of cynical play.

Off The Ball's Diarmuid 'Gizzy' Lyng was in attendance. He confirmed that although fact sheets were handed out to journalists, no reference was made to them by any of the speakers.
