It was a limp ending as a goalless draw between Reading and QPR at the Madjeski Stadium sent both teams down to the Championship.

The winner of the match would have delivered a stay of execution for another week at least, but both sides cancelled each other out as the draw mathematically relegates Reading and QPR from the Premier League.

There were few chances in a scrappy game but Reading's Pavel Pogrebnyak had a shot cleared off the line, while QPR's Esteban Granero clipped the crossbar.
