Kimi Raikkonen came out on top in the season opening F1 Australian Grand Prix.

The Lotus driver finished ahead of Fernando Alonso in a strategic battle in Melbourne, while defending champion Sebastian Vettel was third.

Alonso's Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa started the season well by taking fourth with
Mercedes new boy Lewis Hamilton taking a solid fifth.

It was less positive for the McLarens with Jenson Button passing the chequered flag in ninth.
