Kimi Raikkonen was the winner in Abu Dhabi but Sebastian Vettel held onto his Championship lead – despite starting from the pit lane.
Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso finished second to cut the German’s lead to 10 points.
McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton had qualified pole but he retired from first after a fuel issue on lap 20.
Raikkonen inherited the lead from that point onwards and he held off the chasing Alonso in the closing stages to claim his first victory in three years.
Vettel’s Red Bull was able to make swift progress through the field – partly thanks to a safety car after a collision between Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg and Narain Karthikeyan in the HRT – to finish a creditable third ahead of Mclaren’s Jenson Button.
