Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey has been named Premier League Player of the Month while his boss Arsene Wenger has been named Manager of the Month.

The duo have been recognised for Arsenal's fine start to the season.

Ramsey has enjoyed a surge in form and embarked on a goalscoring run during September. The Wales international scored four goals in four games during September.

Wenger has been awarded manager of the month for four consecutive wins during the month of September that has lifted the club to the top of the Premier League table.

After Sunday's away draw at Swansea, the Gunners are on the summit, above Liverpool on goal difference.
