Ronan O’Gara has been linked with a move to Stade Francais, as a coach rather than a player and earlier this morning Newstalk Breakfast’s Oisin Langan spoke with Reggie Corrigan about the potential move. Corrigan was fully behind the prospect of O’Gara moving out of his comfort zone as he makes his first foray into management.
“It would be an amazing move to be honest with you.
“If he can make a success of that and build his reputation based on that it could only help him,” he said.
Ulster face Scarlets at Ravenhill, in what will be the last game in front of the old Grandstand. With an excellent season behind them Mark Anscombe’s men go into tonight’s game as favourites and Reggie explained why he expects them to be able to live up to that tag and book their spot in the final.
Elsewhere in this weekend’s rugby there is the Leinster V Glasgow semi-final, with a side about to lose several key players – including Isa Nacewa, Joe Schmidt and Johnny Sexton – keen to set up the first half of a cup final double.
Reggie went into detail on how the impending changes at Leinster will affect the players, and what we can expect from Schmidt’s side tomorrow night at the RDS.
