Robbie Keane says he will not be making a return to the Premier League during the MLS close-season.

The Republic of Ireland captain spent a couple of months on loan with Aston Villa last season but he intends to rest over the next couple of months.

The 32-year-old has just signed a new two-year contract with LA Galaxy.
