Nicolas Roche remains in third place overall after today's 4th stage of the Vuelta a Espana.

Roche finished in 10th place today behind stage winner Daniel Moreno, who broke away from the peleton in the final kilometre to cross the line ahead of Switzerland's Fabian Cancellara.

American Chris Horner finished in a group just 6 seconds behind the lead group which means that he has lost the race leader's red jersey to Italy's Vincenzo Nibali, with Roche now just 8 seconds off the leader.

Dan Martin finished in 41st place today to move up to 28th place in the overall rankings.
