Cristiano Ronaldo gave an interview to beIN sport, in English, on his relationship with Leo Messi. The Portugese said the two men have a “professional relationship” but aren’t friends. He said he would be happy for Messi to move to Madrid and play alongside him, though he admitted it might be a difficult deal to sort.

In the video it appears Ronaldo feels no animosity toward his Argentine rival and his demeanour and words go against the media portrayal of him as somewhat jealous of the success of Barcelona’s star.
