Even though New Zealand jettisoned Ireland unceremoniously from the Rugby World Cup, there will be some representation in Saturday's final in the shape of Felix Jones.

The former Munster and Leinster full-back is part of Rassie Erasmus' South Africa set-up as the Springboks looks to get the better of an England side led by another figure named Jones.

Felix Jones' former Munster team-mate Ronan O'Gara had plenty of praise for the 32-year-old when he joined us tonight.

"It will be a great experience. I think he's a consultant for South Africa but he's part of the full-time staff," said O'Gara.

"So that experience would be absolutely fascinating for him.

"And it's brilliant for him because at that age it's going to accelerate his development hugely.

Delighted

"Obviously, Rassie has a massive amount of faith in him and likes his ideas. And you can only be delighted for him because it didn't end up well with Munster.

"One door closes and a big one and a bigger door opens and he's kicking it down and that would be his personality. So fair play to him."

ROG also added that's what's more impressive is how young Jones still is as a coach.

"You forget how young he is at 32 in terms of coaching," he said.

"But what an experience for him. They probably had their coaching ticket long-established but for them to take him on board at a late stage, it speaks volumes for Felix."
