Given that the end of 22 Jump Street featured quite a lengthy sequence showing various sequel possibilities, you would be forgiven for thinking that this was the end of the film franchise. Thankfully, it's not.
Sony has begun work on 23 Jump Street, drafting Rodney Rothman, the writer of 22 Jump Street, to pen the script.
Part of the reason the last film worked so well was due to the involvement of Lego movie directors, Phil Lord and Chris Miller and although the pair have not yet been named as directors, they are on board as producers.
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum are both due to reprise their roles as Schmidt and Jenko.
As of yet, there has been no details of the plot or release date.
