Wigan 0 - 4 Man United
Manchester United maintained their seven point lead at the top of the Premier League with a simple 4 - 0 win over Wigan.
Javier Hernandez opened the scoring with a typical poachers goal before Robin Van Persie curled in a second just before half-time.
The strike duo got on the scoresheet again in the second half with Hernandez firing in a third from just inside the box and Van Persie tapping in a Danny Welbeck pass after a mistake from Wigan's defence.
Man City 3 - 0 Stoke
Manchester City kept pace with their local rivals as they brushed aside the challenge of Stoke City.
It took 43 minutes for City to break down the Potters. And it was Pablo Zabaleta who got the breakthrough after a James Milner cross was deflected into his path six yards out.
The Sky Blues did not look back and 10 minutes after the break Edin Dzeko pounced on a rebound to stretch City's lead.
The points were safe 15 minutes from time when Sergio Aguero stroked home a penalty after a Steven Nzonzi foul on David Silva.
However with City cruising, disaster struck as Aguero was forced off with a hamstring injury which could affect the club's attempts to win the title.
Swansea 2 - 2 Aston Villa
Aston Villa came agonisingly close to ending their horrific run of form until Swansea's Danny Graham struck a last minute equaliser.
Swansea dominated the first half and took the lead through a Wayne Routledge early on after poor defending from Villa.
But Paul Lambert's team were level just before half-time as Andreas Weimann finished well after Christian Benteke played him in.
And it was Benteke who looked to be the hero when he slammed home a penalty five minutes from time.
But Graham latched onto a loose ball in the Villa box to rescue a point for the home side.
