Leicester gave themselves a lifeline in their battle against the drop, with a 2-0 win at home to Swansea this afternoon.
That means Burnley are now bottom after they went down 1-0 at Everton - it was Kevin Mirallas with the only goal of the game.
Burnley also had Ashley Barnes sent off just before the break.
West Brom now look to be safe after winning 2-0 away to Crystal Palace. The goals there came courtesy of James Morrison and
Craig Gardner.
Southampton missed the chance to leapfrog Liverpool into fifth, going down 2-1 away to Stoke. Mame Diouf and Charlie Adam goals put Stoke ahead in the second half, while Morgan Schneiderlin managed Southampton's only goal 22 minutes into the first.
