Shamrock Rovers have signed 2012 player of the year Mark Quigley from Sligo Rovers.

Quigley scored 10 league goals for Champions Sligo last season.

The move is a boost for Rovers who aim to reclaim the league title after a disappointing fourth place finish in 2012.

Meanwhile Sean O’Connor has also signed for Rovers having spent last season at St Pat"s.
