All eyes will be on the 5.30 pm Boylesports Champion Chase, as Sprinter Sacre runs on Irish ground for the very first time. The Nicky Henderson horse is expected to put in another stunning display over fences, to stretch his unbeaten streak to ten (from ten races) and further enhance his legend as one of the greatest jump horses of all time. Such is Sprinter Sacre's appeal and legend that some worry he could prove to be the highlight of the festival, with all that follows over the next few days relegated to second best.
He’s 1/10 with Ladbrokes to win today, so maybe just sit back and enjoy the show for this one.
