Anthony Stokes has admitted that he is hoping to revive his international career after Giovanni Trapattoni's depature.
The Celtic striker has not played for Ireland since withdrawing from a squad for the Nations Cup in 2011.
At the time, Trap said that a footballer should only withdraw from international duty if they were "in hospital or dead".

Stokes has scored three goals in seven games in all competitons for Celtic this season.
He has earned just four caps for Ireland since his debut in 2007.
