Luis Suarez provided the good, the bad and the ugly at Anfield as his 97th minute goal at the death earned Liverpool a 2 - 2 draw against Chelsea.

But he should not have been on the pitch after biting Blues defender Branislav Ivanovic on the arm in the second half - not the first time he has revealed a taste for human flesh on the pitch.

Chelsea had taken a 26th minute lead when Oscar headed in a corner.

But Liverpool got back into the game with Daniel Sturridge's introduction at half-time.

The former Chelsea striker hit the post in the 46th minute before finding the net five minutes later by tapping in a Suarez cross.

But Chelsea took the lead again with Suarez culpable after handling the ball in the box, with Eden Hazard scoring the resulting penalty.

But with the last kick of the game, Suarez, who had bitten Ivanovic shortly after Hazard's goal, headed in a Sturridge cross to make it 2 - 2.

The result lifts Chelsea to fourth, one point behind Arsenal while Liverpool remain seventh.
