Luis Suarez has reportedly told a Uruguayan newspaper that he is staying at Liverpool for now.

The striker told El Observador that the love of the club's fans has convinced him to commit his immediate future to the Merseysiders.

It is a u-turn for Suarez, who last week claimed Liverpool had broken a promise allowing him to leave after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

If the claims ae true, Arsenal will also have to turn their attentions elsewhere.
