The Barclays Premier League often makes claims to be the best domestic club competition in the world.

Some criteria would back that up, while other criteria would tear that down.

So, this week on Team 33, we decided to look at Europe's major leagues under four criteria: excitement, quality, stadiums/fans/facilities and competitiveness to work out how the Bundesliga, La Liga, the Premier League and other competitions should be ranked.

From our own and Twitter user's experiences of travelling to games in England and the continent to stats on average goals per game and the points gap between top and bottom, we did come to an agreement in the end.
