2015 was a year that was packed with sporting fixtures, from start to finish.
Whether rugby is your game and you were glued to the World Cup, or you were keeping an eye on the league and the Championship in the GAA, there was no shortage of matches, tournaments or controversy to pour over.
They allowed for the best photographers out there to capture some of the finest images of crucial or touching moments as the year unfolded.
