With quotes and clips dribbling out before tonight's screening of ITV4 documentary Keane and Vieira: The Best of Enemies, the anticipation has been building.

Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira's rivalry was the most fearsome head-to-head of the Premier League era and as The Daily Mail's Matt Barlow told Off The Ball, a nice tension still exists between the two as seen in the documentary.

"The dialogue between the two is really good theatre. I think you can tell that both have worked in television because they have got the hang of their delivery and comic timing.

"I liked the moments when they're talking about old times like the '99 FA Cup semi-final. When Giggs scored the wonder goal, it was Vieira who gave him the ball and Keane starts the conversation by saying 'What about your pass Patrick?' The dynamic between them worked really well."

Barlow also felt the Homeland-esque scene - with Vieira and Keane sitting across a desk from each other - worked well.

"It was quite natural between two battle-worn central midfielders who had plenty to talk about. Because when they start showing you the clips, you do remember how intense this rivalry was from the moment Wenger arrived to the time these two left."
