Anthony Thompson looks likely to be absent from the Donegal panel for 2015.

The 2012 All-Ireland winner is working in the UK at the moment and may not be able to commit to the inter-county panel.

New Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has confirmed that he is monitoring Thompson's availability at the moment and should know more by mid-January.

Veteran midfielder Rory Kavanagh has also been given more time to decide on his inter-county future.
