Offaly GAA say they're "delighted" to have Tomás Ó Sé join their senior football management team for the 2022 season.
The five-time All-Ireland winner with Kerry will serve as a selector to John Maughan, after the veteran Mayo manager was put forward for re-appointment by the Faithful County.
Ó Sé will begin work with following his involvement with Cork club Glanmire and Offaly chairman Michael Duignan says he'll be a "big addition" to the set-up.
Maughan has opted to stay on as manager after guiding the team to promotion to Division Two of the National Football League this summer.
"I was approached a number of weeks ago about this and after giving it some thought and talking with my family, I am honoured to be asked and really excited to get involved with such a great county like Offaly,” Ó Sé told The Irish Independent of his new role.
"I am really excited by this move and I'm very much looking forward to working with these players and helping in every way I can."
Offaly have also confirmed that Michael Fennelly will be staying on as their senior hurling manager for a third season following their Division Two League and Christy Ring Cup double this summer.
