How do you motivate yourself when you've won it all already?

That's something Tony Kelly will be finding out in 2014 after winning a plethora of individual and team honours with Clare last year.

The 2013 Hurler of the Year chatted to our own Diarmuid 'Gizzy' Lyng and admitted that there's no point basking in the post-Liam McCarthy Cup winning glow.

"We're going back into training with a pep in our step, maybe because we're All Ireland champions. But we weren't long brought back to earth by Davy [Fitzgerald] and the backroom team. 2013 was last year and this is a new year. That's been drilled home already. There's very little talk around our camp about the All Ireland last year. So all the focus is on 2014," said Kelly who also won an U21 All Ireland and the Young Hurler of the Year award.

Kelly is also targeting an improved Allianz League campaign after ending up in a relegation playoff last year and also explained that the Banner only won one of three prizes as they fell to Cork in the Munster semi-finals.
