Today's top '88 moment is when Ireland beat England 1-0 in their first match of the championship.
Midfielder Ray Houghton scrored an incredible header in the 6th minute when the ball was sent his way from striker John Aldridge. England spent the rest of the match trying to equalise, but nobody could get past goalie Packie Bonner who was on top form.
