Tributes are being paid to 29-year-old Irish sprinter Craig Lynch who passed away over the weekend after being involved in a car crash in county Meath.
The teacher from county Cavan has been National Indoor 60-metres champion in 2016. He had also been part of the Ireland team that represented the country at the 2015 World Relay Championships - alongside Thomas Barr, Brian Murphy, Brian Gregan, Richard Morrissey, and Dara Kervick.
It is believed he had been the only person in the car when it hit a wall on the Slane road near Kells in the early hours of Sunday morning.
