Tyrone beat Monaghan in the All Ireland quarter final, by a score of 14 points to 12.
Monaghan started well and stretched out in front before being pegged back by a strong Tyrone resurgence.

Both sides finished with 14 men - Tyrone had Martin Penrose see a straight red at half time, while Kieran Hughes got a second yellow card in the second half.
Sean Cavanagh again put in a man of the match performance for Mickey Hart's side.
Hart said afterwards it was a tight match.
