We've been a little spoiled for incredible goals lately, with Ibrahmovic and Mexes pulling off two of the finest bicycle kicks in years (within the space of a week) and now Valencia's Adil Rami has produced one of the best "from his own half" efforts we've ever seen.
Unlike most lobs, which enjoy a high and relatively slow arc towards goal, Rami's strike flies in at pace, and it appears from the angle we see here that the Llagostera keeper is, at most, on his penalty spot when the ball leaves Rami's foot. Yet such is the speed and low trajectory of the shot that before he can scramble back to goal the ball has flown into the net.
Rami has a total of 13 goals in his 10 year career, we're going to go out on a limb and say this is probably the most impressive.
