Recently Arsenal's U18s thrashed their Peterborough United counterparts 6 - 1 in the FA Youth Cup.

And at the heart of all good things for the Gunners was 16-year-old Daniel Crowley.

The former Aston Villa youth-team starlet scored twice and set the other four goals during the rout.

The sad thing from our point of view is that a player billed as the "new Jack Wilshere" used to represent Ireland at one point. 

The diminutive playmaker was an Ireland U16 international but the highly-rated youngster has since switched to England U17s.

But if Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane can do anything about it, the Boys in Green could do with tempting the Arsenal youth No 10 back into the fold...
