He is thought to be Charlie Haughey's protégé and in 1991 the late Taoiseach famously referred to him as "the best, the most skilful, the most devious, and the most cunning of them all."

It's none other than former Taoiseach and leader of Fianna Fáil Bertie Ahern - who will appear (clarification: not the man himself) in the next episode of 'Charlie' this coming Sunday, January 11th.
