Neymar has suffered what appears to be a serious injury on his ankle.

The Brazilian twisted his ankle excruciatingly during Barcelona's Copa del Rey second leg against Getafe and had to be helped off the pitch.

The 21-year-old appeared to roll over his ankle.

With the World Cup only five and a half months away, there were initial concerns that he could miss the tournament, although a diagnosis has not been made yet.

Early reports suggest it is an ankle sprain but these are not confirmed.
