The headlines should have been about Wayne Rooney's sly shoulder and Michael Carrick's injury ahead of England's friendly with Scotland, but it was a Sky Sports News reporter who made the headlines, while delivering some of the England squad headlines.

Nick Collins was giving his report from Wembley today when something untoward happened.

With just his upper torso, head and moustache visible, viewers probably didn't realize that he was actually speaking, while standing on top of a ladder.

They soon realized though when he tumbled off the ladder midway through his report.
