Friday the 13th is, for many, a day of bad luck and danger, even if such superstitions have basically no logical basis to them. The one thing it has definitely inspired, however, is the Friday the 13th series of films.

After twelve movies (of massively varying quality), the franchise's most memorable contribution to pop culture has been the hockey-masked serial killer Jason Voorhees. Now, one group of YouTube pranksters have opted to take Mr. Voorhees into real life.

The results are equal parts amusing and disturbing. While some of the reactions are genuinely funny, we wouldn't particularly enjoy being chased by a chainsaw wielding man, joke or not. Plus, there's always the danger of how the prankee will react in such circumstances. Is this a prank too far or just a great gag? Watch for yourself and decide.
