Last night's Spanish Supercup final was a fascinating contest.

For the first half Atletico Madrid followed the Bayern Munich template by hassling and harrying Barcelona in midfield before hitting the Catalans on the break.

But Barca weathered the storm and fought back in the second half, despite a hamstring injury suffered by the talismanic Lionel Messi.

But Neymar stepped up to head in a Dani Alves cross to put the Blaugrana on level terms before the second leg.
