Mario Balotelli had shown signs of a return to the form he should be capable of during last weekend's Milan derby defeat to his former club Inter Milan.

But on his first Serie A start for AC Milan tonight, the Liverpool loanee has found the net.

It came from a free-kick away at Udinese five minutes in to put Milan in immediate control:
